Yeah, exactly. I have numerous incompetent coworkers who have passed. Tbh I don't hold her in very high regard in terms of her work product (&im not alone)

The Power PE really is about luck, I swear
I worked with someone years ago who took her PE and passed the first time...and everyone was REAL snarky about it because they um, definitely didn't expect her to.

I thought about this as I failed multiple times.

I had to take the PE three times, and the first two times, I took it with two different former coworkers (each one once) who were younger than me and had less experience. Both passed on the first try. It took me three times. Literally, when I failed the first time and my coworker passed, we told our boss the news together, and he looked at me in disbelief. It was the worst feeling ever.

After I failed the second time, I went home early and cried in my bed. I was useless.

When I got my results after taking it the third time, I was too scared to check my results myself and made my now husband (boyfriend at the time) check for me instead. He played a joke on me and wouldn't tell me what color box he saw on my NCEES dashboard. Finally, he told me. He's lucky I didn't break up with him over that!

I'm honest believer that, the more times you take the exam, the more you savor it and realize that it is a huge thing to have overcome, and that you should feel incredibly proud of it. All of us will get there!

Just try not to break your keyboard! I highly recommend the Chrome automatic refresh add-on.

Oh my god, I can't imagine the emotional turmoil as you waited to hear what color the box was the third time. LOL.

I failed twice, and each time, I took a walk around my building and cried on the phone while talking to my now husband.  For the third attempt, the results email came in right before I was leaving for work.  I made my husband grab our dog and sit next to me on the couch for emotional support as I logged into NCEES. I remember seeing the green box and saying, "I PASSED?!!!?!!!??!!!" in disbelief.  Then immediately started sobbing the ugliest of all ugly cries.

No, what I meant was idk if I'm gonna open it whil at work or wait til I get home. I would be able to focus not knowing. But I also wont be able to focus knowing (regardless pass or fail)

If you failed the exam, which you didn't, you would get the exam survey soon. That's when they ask about the site conditions and proctors.

If you have the will power to know the results are out in your state and not check your personal results until you are home from work, well then, I salute you!

We've progressed from dropping it out the window on the 21st story to this... Also, shouldn't you be going home?

I might just text my boss " pe results are in. Im going home to open them. See you tomorrow"

I've been meaning to ask, where's your profile picture from? I swear I've seen that before, but I can't remember where.
I wish I had a better source for you...but google.  The song "Crown" by Jay-Z resonates with me. This image kinda speaks to how I see myself...especially as it pertains to that song.

Yes, probably in another 30-45 min...trying to get in some extra time for Halloween.  Senior management is coming in that day, so we're going to lunch. And I'm trying to leave early that day since apparently our neighborhood gets flooded with kids early.
