Ah, oboe, the most majestic of the dying duck instruments.  Closely followed by the english horn and then bassoon.  All instruments that I get to hear beginners on when my father is teaching in the house.

...and @P-E you know if you mastered in oboe you'd be great at fingering...scales.  Just saying.
