Yeah, every chair has an "FSI" or farts per square inch rating. Too may farts, and the chair falls apart.

That brings up the age old permeable vs non-permeable chair material debate.

Th permeable supporters maintain that the chair can act duofold as a muffler and a filter. The nonpermeable backers feel that the chair will last longer and not become discolored and that the gas will dissipate and mix with the ambient air more readily.

I guess each has its pros and cons.
