Need references to get my license

Not trying to be argumentative but I have no idea where your co-worker got that idea because that is incorrect. What I mentioned above has been in place for over two decades at least, if not longer. What discipline of license was your co-worker applying for?

It was a reciprocity for Civil. He must have misunderstood the regulations in the application, I only remember him complaining about it for a few weeks.

I don't recall if he ever followed through with it or obtained clarification from the board or not.

Appreciate the clarification though, it is bound to help others.

Yeah, I realize that you meant that California doesn't require someone applying for a CA license to have a CA license lol
