Map: April 2012 Results

I say when this is all said and done, somebody ought to email this map to the slowest states and say WTF!?

I'll gladly do that for VA. Hell I'll actually send it to them right now. I'll let you know if I get a response.

I ALMOST wish my state wasn't due out in the next day or two (based on last time http://i.imgur.com/nnAXi.png) or I wish I didn't know it was due. Then I could just forget about this nonsense and do something else for awhile. SO ANXIOUS!

yep, I'm a mess. I took the PE when my son was 5wks old.

Let me tell you, that was REALLY stressful.

I'm SOO afraid to find out that it wasn't even worth it.

Not every state is represented on these boards. I wouldn't be surprised if AK and VT already released, being they were the first day for October. By the way, I never uploaded the map, but PA was on 1/6 last time around. Ouch.

Does anyone know when NCEES updates the percentage passing by discipline for the April 2012 exam? It currently lists stats for Oct 2011

Well that killed some time, I looked at the VT and AK board pages to see if they had any info but came up with nothing. I also meant to add AR to the list last time.

does anyone see the grounds for suing for mental/emotional trauma.....11 am, 2 days after the results are officially released, but half of us still dont know our fate......my fingers are cold every time i hit F5. Daaarrrrn!

I talked to the SD board today and they said that they will mail out the results today or tomorrow. Looks like I will have to wait until Monday to find out if i passed.

Sent the map in an email to the person I've been emailing at the VA DPOR, here's her response:

"Thank you for the information. Not meaning to sound rude, but the map is no help as we use a different exam vendor from most of the ELSES states (those that use NCEES as an exam administrator). The results are sent by NCEES alphabetically and they send out to the ELSES states first. I know everybody gets all antsy about the grades (and I truly do understand) and a lot of back and forth goes on, especially among the first time takers. Blog, blog, blog…twitter, twitter, twitter among the takers in different states.

Info still stands. We’ll send as soon as we receive and download and Board certify. I know you engineers like “exacts” but this is a time you have to pretend to be one of those artsy types and just go with the flow. I’d prefer having exacts to give people because I’m that way myself. But at exam results time, I pretend I’m back in 60’s and just roll with it as it comes. I hope we find out sooner than expected and that you can add PE after your name.

I'm with you on this, if you look at the PCS states in alphabetical order (CT, DE, MD, MA, NJ, PA, PR, VA, WI) they went out of order as is, NJ and Delaware both have their results already and no can get anything out of CT.

All I know is if I hired a company to do this work, I'd have it in writing when I'd get the information from them. It sounds like a typical government office. We have hired these guys because they're more efficient then us, but we can't even be efficient enough to construct a schedule to when we expect these results (which are ALL electronic btw) and our expected turn around once we have those results.

How dare us lowly citizens who pay her salary question her ability to do the job we pay her to do! Nevermind her cushy benefits and pension.
