At my nephew's school, it was the opposite. There was one kid in the whole school that was allergic to peanuts, so anybody that brought a peanut-containing lunch item to school had to sit a a segregated table. My sister was going to send him to school with a PB&J for lunch one day, and he pitched a fit. She asked what was wrong and he said "I don't wanna have to sit at the peanut table!" It was said in a tone that indicated that it was on par with being sent to a leper colony.so minisnick used to be a PB&J person almost everyday for lunch last yr. we asked him this morning why he hasn't asked for pb&J yet this school year and he said one of his lunch friends (not in his class so just at lunch/recess) is allergic to peanuts so he didn't want his friend to have to go to another table.
