Same here. Now I’m just anxiously waiting for the results. I think I performed better than the first time I took it. How did it go for you?

I also feel like I did much better than the first time. I only guessed on about 5 questions. The first time I only used the EET material and this time I also used Rezas workbook. I hope my results are representative of how I felt after finishing.

I think I guessed on about 6 or 7 and the rest I felt pretty confident. I just hope it works out b/c this is my last exam to get my PE.

Hi All,

I also took the survey exam yesterday for the second time. I guessed on 8 questions, and I felt much better than the last time. I used Reza's workbook. Hopefully it paid off since this is my last exam (same as @Mr. RaiderNutt :)).

Let's goooo.

Did you guys feel the problems in Reza's workbook were the same difficulty as the exam problems?

I found that some problems were VERY similar to the Reza workbook. I highly recommend it. The EET book has way more information and pretty solid practice exams. Those are the two references I used and highly recommend.

Took the seismic exam for the second time this past Saturday, last time I took it was June. Did anyone else feel like the questions were written a lot clearer? I just felt the diagrams were more clearly labeled this time and less ambiguous, or maybe I just studied better this time?

I also took the Seismic exam for the second time on Saturday. I took it for the first time in August.

Funny you mention it - I'm not sure if I was more prepared this time around, or if the questions were written better. Maybe a combination of both.

Hoping for the best for everyone!

I think the Reza's workbook problems are much more difficult, but for a good reason. After doing so many hard problems, your speed and problem-solving capabilities will increase. FYI, I only used Reza's workbook.

I took it last Friday for a second time and prepared with EET and Mansour books. feel a lot better than first time

Anyone take seismic for the first time? Hope I'm not jinxing myself, but as a first timer myself, the questions seemed pretty fair/straightforward.

Also, am I the only one who is optimistic (depending on how you look at it) results will be released about a week later like they did for Dec 2020? ( on 1/7/2021) Regardless, will be much better than the 8-hour result wait - that felt like an eternity.

I hope that is the case. I'm so anxious to get my results...the wait is already killing me 😫

The thing about seismic is that it can seem straight forward regardless of whether you got the answer right or wrong, thanks to subscripts and exceptions. I feel like there aren't as many tricks in the survey exam, just make sure you are answering the question that was being asked.

Agreed! There are some questions that could lead you in the completely wrong direction. Sometimes I would find myself doing the wrong part of a problem and have to go back and start over. Surveys is much more straightforward.

What are the odds for the results to be out this Thursday?
