Construction and Technical Manager (m/w/d)


YOUR TASKS:

• With a trained eye, you oversee the product engineering process from the construction perspective and ensure that the products have the proper construction and the best possible technicality.
• You lead, manage and mentor team members so they can perform their assigned tasks to the best of their ability.
• You assess the 2D / 3D files to make sure, that they are constructed the best way possible, and that the correct grading method is applied.
• You ensure that the products are suitable for mass production.
• In close collaboration with the technical department, you ensure that the products are suitable for mass production.
• Utilizing your excellent communication and organizational skills, you coordinate specific procedures / workflows with other departments (e.g., Commercialization and Production) as well as with our external suppliers.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical training or studies in the shoe industry, e.g., shoe technician, orthopedic master shoemaker, industrial master shoemaker, graduate engineer in leather processing and shoe technology
• Several years of professional experience with profound know-how in technical development and production
• Extensive knowledge of 2D or 3D CAD systems (ideally Mind CAD, ProCAM for 2D, and Solidworks, Rhino for 3D) preferable
• Process-oriented understanding as well as a careful and accurate working method
• Constructive team player with self-initiative and a structured way of thinking
• Strong communication skills and good command of English, German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently is expected
