The Georgia Board has recently changed that requirement.  So @YL-2017 you probably need to look into it more.  They do have a requirements for a 16-hr structural exam is your work falls into a certain category.  More info on the rules change is in the Board's January 2017 Board Minutes available here:  http://sos.ga.gov/PLB/acrobat/BoardMinutes/pels/20170131.pdf

I just happened to have read through the board minutes this morning (trying to gauge when in the world they'll release some results), and came across the bit about the structural exam.  

 
You are right there is no SE title in GA.  But they somehow require you to take SE exam and call you PE if your title in your company is Structural Engineer.  
Well, that really blows.  Seriously, give those guys and gals who took that 16-hr exam an extra title!
