Florida license numbers

DVINNY, If this needs to be moved, fine. Just wondering how long it takes the STATE to let us use that seal (or even order it).

For those of you still waiting, please don't take offense...I am just excited.

I don't think it's offensive, but quite pertinent. Many this time that passed are probably wondering, and many in the future may search for this.

You cannot use the seal until you receive your wall certificate and license in the mail.

A good friend of mine took the October exam in FL 3yrs ago, he got his certificate and licence number in Feb. He said he got his wall certificate BEFORE the website was even updated showing that he'd passed the test. This makes sense to me, my experience with the FL board has shown that they are either completely overwhelmed all of the time, or mostly incompetent most of the time. Too bad we'll have to keep dealing with them in the future on CE issues, etc. :dunno:

i recall the last exam that while Florida received their pass / fail before any one else it seemed like folks were complaining for several months about not having their numbers

Yeah, I suppose that kind of sucks, but I'm still so damn happy that I passed the exam I doubt I'll get my panties in a wad over it. I'm not sure what could possibly take them so long to assign licence numbers, but I've still got some perspective on the issue. I've waited several years already, another month or so isn't gonna kill me.

There were a lot of new licensees on 2/6/2006. Hope they are faster this year.

My wall certificate and pocket sized liscense card (why do we have this?) says 2-6-06....i believe i got it during the second week of February.

Might be wrong but I do remember reading somewhere that the FBPE will meet on January 17th to discuss PE test results(academic but that is what they do) Don't think they will issue any license number before that day.
