Civil PE Structural Depth - Foundation Design Question

Does anyone know where to find the equations for foundation design?

In both SoPE and EET, they mention equations that I can't seem to find in any of the reference books that are provided during the exam. Is this something that I would need to memorize?

Depends what you are looking for. The concrete would be located in concrete design (slab, wall, column etc). The reference manual has a section on bearing capacity, which is typically what I would see as "foundation design".
