Hi guys,

Just got my book today which I bought online, Civil DS by Robert Kim, Spriggs and Lindeburg. Looking at it it seems that its a little bit thin and browsing through the NCEE exam specifications Civil Section it seems broad.

Is this book complete?

If you took the Civil DS in the afternoon, which book do you think will completely discuss all the specifications set by NCEE? What I mean is will be fairly enough to get me through the afternoon exam.

i agree its a little thin esp in comparison to FERM - I havent started going thru it or working probs yet. . .i'm still in FERM, but after a quick scan of the civil ds book it was like 'seeing an old friend' problems-wise, in comparison to what i've been laboring thru in FERM. After taking the FS last April, i feel confident that the manual is a pretty good representation for the civil ds - but wanna hear what others think too. . .
