bad news (for Maine anyway)

just got this from somebody from the state board:

I just checked with NCEES yesterday, as they had planned to mail them to us on Friday. They've had a problem with scoring the FE's so the send date has been delayed to possibly this Wednesday. Which would mean that we would have to hold them for seven days to obtain Board approval to release them, so it looks like around the 25th.

It looks good news here in Texas, we will be getting our result latest by Friday.

Well we're getting close. At least we're still way ahead of 10-12 weeks. If this is correct e-mail results should come any time now for a lot of folks.

well i asked her about the PE results, so i'm assuming they have to release them at the same time. unless she misread my email. i wonder why they have to hold them for seven days?

i thought she was saying that since NCESS wasn't sure of their findings, the board would have to approve the candidates as well?

lol not really. i basically took it to mean that they'll be mailing the PE results out on the 25th for some reason or another. again, i'm not sure what the FE grading error has to do with the PE test, but whatever.

This sounds funky. If they had trouble scoring the FEs, wouldnt that mean they had trouble for all states? Why would there be problems with only Maine FE exams?

who knows, they might have had a problem with all states, she didnt say it was maine specific.

Thats true, but I would have to believe scoring problems would affect all states and thus, news rolling in from other boards would reflect this.
