Have the rules changed?  No consecutive posts!

This is our biannual EB.com spam fest to help with the post-exam stresses. For the n00bs, the goal is to focus less on the exam, how you did or did not do or the results, and more on unwinding here in the STB subforum and getting this thread to 15,000 posts. The rules are as follows:

  • No double posts (meaning you may not have consecutive posts). Accidents happen, but at the discretion of the Moderators, your posts could be deleted if it is deemed intentional
  • Spelling doesn’t count (luckily for me)
  • Posts must be at least three characters long (and an actual word) or a meme
Winning categories are as follows:

  • total post count
  • total number of top page posts
  • last post to close out the thread (#15,000)
Winners may receive a prize. These are the rules for now, but pay attention because they can change at any "TIME". Good luck and happy spamming.

Anyone here taken the FAA 107 license/certification exam (commercial drones)?

Now that I am still in study mode from the PE I am thinking of studying for it myself and not try any paid courses.
The only thing I don't like is that it is only a 2 year license...

Random Spam Recipe:

Sweet and Spicy Brussel Sprouts with Spam
2 servings

What you need:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 slices spam, about 2 oz each.
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 8oz brussel sprouts, halved
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot chili sauce (sriracha, or sambal)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp sichuan peppercorns

How to do it:

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet. Spread brown sugar onto both sides of the sliced spam. Sear on both sides until sugar has caramelized, about 3min on either side.
  • Meanwhile, blanch brussel sprouts in salted water until bright green and cooked, about 3min. Make the sauce by mixing soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and hot chili sauce in a separate bowl.
  • Remove sliced spam from the pan and set aside. Wipe off the pan to remove any excess sugar, and then toast minced garlic and sichuan peppercorns until aromatic.
  • Toss in brussel sprouts and sauce. Dice sliced spam and stir it back into the pan.
  • Serve with white rice and a sunny side up egg.
