I've read this problem & it's solution several times, checked the Errata and could use help understanding the following:

Why isn't Effective Width (B') used in the solution?

The Hint even recommends finding Effective Width!

Ok, I re-read the solution again and can see exactly why it is correct to use B as B'.

Sorry again everyone. I'm just a little worked up over this Friday's exam.
