Who are you watching?
Was the red wings vs blackhawks
who won? What part of the cup playoffs are they in now?
blackhawks :( in the second round of the western conference playoffs
I have been so busy that I haven't been following are there still enough games left to turn it around?

our local league won the Kelly Cup over the weekend in California...I watched Friday night and our team lost, they posted next game was Tuesday but they actually played Saturday night in California again and won the cup...I found out on Sunday so I missed the winning game and even though I wasn't home if I know I would have taped it so watch. It was our first time winning. There was a parade in their home town last night but too busy to attend that one :( Oh well, maybe next year

This thread has me seriously concerned about the integrity of engineered systems throughout the country. What exactly is the point of this?

there is no point to this thread. It is just a game of sorts to keep people busy while they wait for their results. how fast can the post count get to 10k basically. the nonsense is normal

that ref with the horrible call that voided the goal almost had a bad night. I would have asked for police escort home had the blackhawks lost in OT

ok, so I failed. Who can suggest to me so good reference materials? I have been using the CERM, and NCEES practice problem books. I am taking the WR&E afternoon session. I have done well with regards to hydraulics and hydrology, as I should because it is what I do everyday. I severely lack in the environmental, waste water, water quality, and water treatment sections. At this point I am open to suggestions.

Ref's are bad from kids leagues on up...haven't found one that was on our side yet!!!

My son's team was in a tournament and one of our players got a butt end of the stick shoved in his neck and then through his cage in his eye...our kid went into the penalty box!!! We played almost the entire game 4 on 5 We showed them though and won the championship two days later

Mike, although I didn't take the Civil Exam, aside from using the EERM and NCEES practice exams, I also took a review course with SchoolofPE. Kind of a pain in the butt time-wise, but I found their reviews to be pretty comprehensive, and I used a lot of the material they provided as part of the class during the exam. They go through a lot of sample problems as part of the class, which helped me understand concepts more thoroughly. I would hope their structure for all disciplines is similar - but I don't know how they handle specialties within disciplines (i.e. env/wr inside of Civil) but it's probably worth looking into. Hopefully you can get some good advice from other Civils - there's a thread on here about study techniques, advice for others, etc. I know there's one in the Environmental forum specifically - and I'm guessing with the vast number of civil engineers there's similar threads for you guys as well.
