Got a promotion to new position that comes with 15% pay increase... I had been working my ass off and making good inroads... the PE was the lynch pin to getting to the next level though.

After failing three times before finally passing, I can attest that I'm much happier finding the results out earlier and having to wait for the actual license number as opposed to not fining out if you passed or failed until January as we used to in previous years.... NY may not be the most...

They are up to 090136 now... but it looks like all reciprocals for out of state folks. Maybe they need some additional process prior to entering the numbers for new PE's.... the NCEES letter did say to check the site in 3 weeks.... I just don't have the patience.

After learning that I passed the PE exam yesterday... and telling everyone in my office... someone suggested that I change my signature now to add the PE after my name. I only passed the exam, but have not recieved the license number (NY). What is the protocol??

I believe that part of our $250 fee to the NYS Department of Ed went towards the purchase of a big dart board that has different time periods on it... this week, end of the week, early next week, two weeks, three weeks, I don't know, we have not recieved it yet. Every time that one of us calls...

I was just told by NY Dept of Ed rep and Castle rep (two separate calls) not to expect them for 3 weeks. Dept of Ed rep blamed Castle and Castle rep blamed NYS.... wonderful. :oldman:

Happy New Years to my fellow New York PE test takers. On the bright side of our state being behind the curve in getting results out the door... we don't have to have our new years eve party spoiled if we are on the wrong side of the cut score. I won't expect to see anything until Wednesday...

You can't perform statistical analysis until after you have the statistics.... the graded tests. With that said, if all of the tests are collected and scanned within three weeks, then the statistical analysis should not take more than another 3 weeks... 6 weeks should be possible.

Thank you for calling me ignorant instead of stupid :) ... but without investigating the NCEES website, my little post did sumize that they would need to do statistical analysis. I just did not take into account that they would analyze this test against others from previous years. But then...
