Congrats! I've been following your "saga" for the last couple of days. The wait must have been excruciating, but definitely worth it!

How many years out of college were you when you got your PE??

BSCE 2009 FE 2009 MSCE 2012 PE 2013 I guess I'm done with engineering tests for pretty much the rest of my life...

    PE and Money

People, you have to remember that we all live in different states. Someone mentioned that he knows drafters making 60k. I work for an engineering firm in Florida and I've never met a drafter making that much, but I'm pretty sure that in states where cost of living is much higher than in FL(CA...

    Florida Results

Yeah, but the counter arguments would be that 1)For the April test they released the scores for 10 different states on the first day, this time they only released it for 3(TX, CA and KY). 2)They released those April scores for Florida in the early morning, and it's already 10:27 AM :P

    April 2013 HVAC Cut Score

I've never understood why this is the prevailing view in this forum considering that we are all engineers. Shouldn't we be trying to optimize the amount of time that we are going to use studying for this test? I know some people that have spent ~400 hours studying for this test(and passed of...

Post Failing PE Cut Scores for April 2013 Exam

I think I probably failed by a couple of questions. I'll post my score if I fail :P

    Civil Construction highest failing score?

There are probably more people like you, I just had not come across any. That being said, even your case seems very particular since you work in construction. Some of the people I'm talking about work in construction and have gone on to pass Transportation/Geo/Env ... I have never heard of...

    Civil Construction highest failing score?

I've been reading old topics in these forums, and my conclusion is that there is not enough evidence to get to some of your conclusions. In fact, I believe that some of the evidence we have seems to run in the opposite direction. 1)We know that the passing rate is about ~70% for Civil, but we...

How you did AM/PM October 2013 (All)

The construction PM was full of really odd/random questions at least in my opinion...

    Florida PE Experience Question

If the institution is accredited by ABET, the Masters should take care of 1 year. I believe that you don't have to work under a PE for your experience to count in FL, as long as you get a PE(it doesn't have to be your boss) to verify the experience for you, you should be ok

    Illinois Results October 2013

You might still have to take statins based on the new guidelines announced today :P

career advice please, geomatics -> civil engineering

I agree with the others. You already have the academic background (Masters in Hydrology) and you have experience that is somewhat relevant to the field(I know that some companies specifically look for people that are proficient with GIS). If you switch to structural, you'd start from 0 basically.

how many hours do you work

No OT pay here. But I still somehow find myself working 50-60 every week...

    References

I took the test in October. I'd recommend future test takers to bring all the references listed on the NCEES website, there is a reason why they are there.
