As a grown up, I tend to forget the smaller holidays that got me days off as a kid (Indigenous People's Day [legal name in Maine], Presidents Day, Veteran's Day, etc).

I get the major ones off and rely on my teacher friends to know when the rest happen lol 

Strictly speaking, I don't get any holidays off. The company just gives everyone an extra 8 days of PTO to cover the major holidays... I mean, literally no one expects you to come in on Thanksgiving or Christmas, but as far as payroll is concerned, it's all just PTO.

I guess I could take a three day weekend if I wanted to... I was saving up the PTO to take a week and a half off around Christmas and New Year's.

I guess I could take a three day weekend if I wanted to... I was saving up the PTO to take a week and a half off around Christmas and New Year's.

I am going to end up with 20 days off in a row, due to use it or lose it PTO and holidays. I am THRILLED.

Hopefully we have PE results by then.
