I see it more as a bully taking your toy away and holding it too high for you to reach, then saying "Here you go, you can have it back." while lowering the toy only to thrust it high into the air when you reach for it... This makes me sad. The worst part is the NCEES bully will break some of the toys even though we are right here at Christmas. I hope Santa is watching.

Are there usually threads for each state or just the huge ones? I looked back a smidge and I see various topics for CA, FL, etc. Do people make these to commiserate/celebrate together? I'll totally make one for my state - all like 22 of us lol

Nah.  They probably have a script they have to stick to.  Think of this as your parents teasing you at Christmas, saying maybe Santa will get loss, and then instead of a video game for Christmas you get a puppy!  Or a coffee maker!  Or a new pair of socks!!!

There are usually separate threads for each state. 

And there should be too. Makes searching a lot easier and allows to dispersal of state specific information.

Last cycle was different because people had trouble registering so not as many threads were made.
