First time poster. Hi.I'm not from Virginia, but anybody here know anything about results from that state? Reason I'm asking is because my bro's wife is waiting on the results.
Hi, hopeful. Don't believe that response. It is what all of the boards tell everybody. Even when they are posting results or sending letters. Just be patient and keep checking. Good luck.First time poster. Hi.
I just received this from DPOR:
Exam results normally take 12 weeks before they are released. ...
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I tell you, the first time I took the exam I was just pleasantly surprised when the envelope came. Then I prepared more for the last time. This time, I find myself addicted to this site and to the DPOR site to see if there's any new word on the streets! I'm going to be shattered if I get a FAIL notice again. I thought this test, despite my preparation, was harder than it was in the fall.Hi, hopeful. Don't believe that response. It is what all of the boards tell everybody. Credit (as compared to CA) for early release of results on 1/03 in the state of VA goes to PCS's efficient handling methods.FYI--> October 2007 results recieved 1/3/08 (via VA DPOR website), with the first states recieving there's 12/19/07. Hopefuly the delay won't be quite as bad since we had Christmas and New Year's sandwiched between VA results and some of the other states.
It's sad that I'm considered a veteran of waiting for my PE Results.
Just 3? I bet you are on left tail end of bell shaped curve. I check at least once every 1 hour during 9-5pm (Monday, and Friday), Tuesday - every two hours, Wednesday every 3 hours, Thursday every 2 hours. Saturday - twice a day. Sunday - once. I may be on right tail end. I hope not.OK, Poll Question for Virginia PE Takers:Roughly, how many times a day do you check DPOR's database and EB in hopes of finding out something regarding Virginia PE Exam Results?
I'm probably 3.
When I expressed my frustration while talking to an EES officer (a lady) over the phone, she pour her story something like this, "You will get your result on your hand long before I even come to know that results are mailed to you: examinees." Then, I stopped calling them over the phone. My observation is that the people to whom we have access over the phone actually do not have any knowledge on the current status of the result, and its importance. They handle so many exams everyday, I wonder whether they know what is PE in a real sense, and top of all its importance to us. It seems EB.com also got tired of counting days, and stopped counting the days on our (Va.nians) behalf. Are we left behind?Do you have any idea how the other PCS states compare to Virginia with regards to the speediness of results? I wonder what the benefits are to the Commonwealth for using PCS over ELSES.
Same. About three. Sadly, checking that place will not tell me if I've failed, only if I've passed.OK, Poll Question for Virginia PE Takers:Roughly, how many times a day do you check DPOR's database and EB in hopes of finding out something regarding Virginia PE Exam Results?

I check here more often for the scoop. If others are seeing their names on the DPOR site and I'm not, then the gig is, as they say, up.Just 3? I bet you are on left tail end of bell shaped curve. Now, how many times a day, do you check this EB website? More than the DPOR VA website. Scroll down to the bottom of the list to find VA. It reminds the statement from DPOR VA Lady, who said "we are very close to the bottom ..... ?" Unfortunately, yes we are.
Thanks for your advice HWY PE, but unfortunately it didn't help my anxious mind. 8-9 weeks after the test was last week.
Plus, I keep hoping that, in this new age of technology, this may be the year that mankind somehow finds a way to grade a scantron test in less than 10 weeks.
It could be something in the water. ;DThere has been no new names posted to the DPOR site. I know of 15 people from zip 23112 and noe show up. I hardly believe that all 15 failed, but I guess they could.
