why are the time stamps jacked up on this site

You probably need to update your time zone setting. Click on your user name in the top right of the page, select "My Settings", adjust your time zone.

I tried this already but on my cell phone but not PC, guess there was something lost in translation.

Try downloading the tapatalk app. Then you can use that rather than the web-based interface on your phone.
