Hello Everyone, getting ready for the PE (Power ) in October. Sorry, if this has been asked before, but:

Does the test has any sequence in term of how the questions are listed?  Meaning, in the FE, I new  the sections sequence, that help me a lot to  get prepare.

This is my first post.

thank you.

The section sequence in the CBT FE is random too - not sure how you knew.

Well, I knew Math was first follow by Prob & Stat, Ethics, Economics and so on.... Thus in the FE test I knew  the general topic regarding the specific question presented to me. Once, I all math questions were over, I knew Prob and Stat were next... and so  on.

Thank you for all the replies.

Don't think they follow that seq when I took mine..it's all over the place!

Like iwire and others have said it is all over the place:  NEC, 3 phase circuit analysis, power electronics, symmetrical components, lighting, economics, protective relaying, NESC, etc. all randomly shuffled.  It pays to have your formula sheets and reference materials well organized and labeled so you can bounce around to the relevant pages in a hurry.
