I'm a 3-timer this April and what I've found is that I get stumped on the questions that require no calcuations at all. And I've found them not to be the questions you could find in a typical text book. Topics like grounding or phasing. Or things you would know as an electrician?? I'm a Protection Engineer for a utility and these are still topics that stump me. Anybody know any good references for power references like that?? I've borrowed a co-workers Ugly's Electrical References. Any other good reference books such as that?

Thank you! The help I've found on this site has been tremendous!! (I know you can't tell since I said I'm a 3-timer :smileyballs: )

For safety/grounding questions, I found the NEC handbook helpful. Also, I found good info on this guy's website (later on I got his book):

Web: www.thecircuitdetective.com/bkgrd.htm#chart

Book: Circuit Down! by Larry Dimock
