I took the Civil: Water Resources/Environmental (WRE) PE test April 2014 and just found out that I did not pass. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Environmental only test would be easier than the WRE test. I have a degree in Civil, but I work as an Environmental Engineer. I work primarily on remediation projects for contaminated petroleum and chlorinated solvent sites. I do not have any experience with air permitting or anything like that, just site assessment and remediation.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

In my opinion, the following factors needs to be considered for taking the Environmental PE Exam:

1. You need to evaluate your strength on the Solid Waste & Environmental Health and Safety.

2. You need to evaluate your score on the Water Resources/Environmental based on the diagnostic.

Hope this helps..
