GA sent out a wallet card and small certificate similar to what you'd see for cosmetologists. If you want a wall certificate you've gotta pay. Makes sense to me since the certification is only valid for a set period of time.

Look at the NCEES sample exams, this will give you a decent representaion. But for the NEC, look at everything from page 1 to the back cover. I wouldn't spend much, if any, time on the NESC.

Yes I used the Chelpati books. The Ugly's reference books are about 3"x5" little spiral bound books typically for electricians. Basic Electrical has red spiral binding, Motors is blue, and NFP70A is green. each are about $15 or so. I will look at the motors books I used. I'm in South Dakota...

As was mentioned elsewhere, the fact that more people take the exam in October may contribute to the delay. Also, there could have been some scoring issues to deal with. Since they don't release based on discipline, more exams means longer time.

FWIW, numbers are being assigned in the SOS system for April '11 passers.

I wasn't able to get any of the archived classes. There was a little bit of trouble with the Adobe Connect system that they were using. However, each session was recorded and I would watch them the next day. The week of the exam I even used them again to refresh. I did purchase the economics...

EE FOR HIRE! on mine. Most everyone I work with says the same thing, you don't graduate with a degree if you're a total slacker. Academia just proves that you can be taught. You're only taught concepts and theory. It's the real world experience that really teaches you.

This. People are out on the lakes, at the baseball games, etc..heck even mowing the yard. Much more important and/or fun things to do.

I think some of it has to do with the states verifying the requirements are met. Some people have said they took PE and eit in same weekend so not passing eit would cause someone to not meet PE requirements even though they passed PE exam.

Draw it out. You should see that the phase-phase voltage will be the same as the phase-ground voltage for that leg.

It's just a new cover. Maybe some reformatting, rearranging on the pages and fixing of errors, but no new problems.

How would you rate the Power Reference Manual? I have the complete EE RM, just wondering if the Power one was really any better.
