For the electrical/computer exam order the sample exam from NCEES. I went through this book a few times and was able to organize/collect/tab the references for the exam. The sample exam book is good preparationfor the exam.

I received my WA state license in the mail today, including the wallet card. Does anyone know if Washington State DOL will also send a wall certificate? I have one for my EIT from WA. Seems weird that they wouldn't send them together.

Washington State DOL website is updated with license numbers. At least mine was updated. I can now add PE to my business cards.

Washington State DOL says they will be out the first week of July.

I sent an emai to the Washington Engineering DOL asking when the website would be updated with licenses and the reponse back was: Those licenses should be issued around the first week of July.

I took and passed the new format PE Electrical Computer exam. Get the NCEES Sample exam. I used the EERM and mostly a Computer Architecture book by Hennesey and Patterson. A good software engineering text would be good however, I don't know of one.

Passed Electrical PE in Washington State.

I passed. My email was sent at 05:21 this morning. The Wash State web site hasn't been updated yet.

Suddenly.......nothing happened. I was really hoping that yesterday results would start showing up. Nothing. All quiet in Washington State.

Until I get the email, I've simultaneously passed and failed the exam.

I took the April 2009 Electrical Computer exam and used the following resources: Computer Organization and Design, Patterson and Hennessy (very useful) EERM NCEES sample problems (very useful) I too wished I had a good software engineering text. But I feel that with logic and common sense...
