    CPESC anyone?

I agree...it is a good means of weeding out those who are unqualified. If someone has legitimate experience preparing plans...you should be able to pass. I thought the exam was difficult, but I actually did well on it...but like JPenviro...I've been preparing plans for 12 or 13...

    Dumb question here...

I've never understood that, as I thought in a lot of jurisdictions it was not legal practice to refer to one as an "engineer" unless they had the professional credentials to back it up. I realize the term "software engineer" is common and widespread, but as an EIT, we were NEVER allowed to...

    Dumb question here...

Yes, you CERTAINLY don't need to worry about anything like this on the exam. Questions never vary by this level of precision. As far as real world scenarios go, I suppose that's what factors of safety are for.

    Water/ Waste water book

I agree, Metcalf and Eddy are pretty much a must...if you can supplement with some other refs, then all the better. However, having Metcalf and Eddy will serve you well.

    Water/Env Afternoon Difficulty Level

I didn't think either portion was EXTREMELY difficult. The morning questions were relatively easy and straight forward in my opinion. The afternoon questions were a little more in depth; however, I thought that they were manageable.

    LEED

I haven't been on here for some time...and I didn't even realize there was a LEED topic...however...I did pass the day before Thanksgiving. I wanted to pass before the new version of the exam comes out in 2009. Good luck to those getting ready to take it right now.

    CPESC anyone?

The difference occurs when a specific client requests having a certified person on staff.

    CPESC anyone?

No apologies necessary!...I was the one who was not adequately prepared. I'll get it next time...I guess I was just really stunned at the level of depth on the exam. I've already gone through the PE nightmare...so I figured this was a piece of cake. I was wrong. They put together a pretty...

    CPESC anyone?

Well...I took the exam today...and I must admit...I think it DEMOLISHED me. The exam literally took my blaster rifle...and smashed it over my head. I could not believe the depth of some of the questions on there. One REALLY needs to be prepared for this test. I went in thinking I would have...

    CPESC anyone?

ktulu... Thanks a lot...that would be great! The test does not seem like it will be that hard...but it would just be nice to know what it is like. I think as it currently stands...there are 35 people in Pennsylvania that have passed the exam...so it is not like you can just walk across the...

    CPESC anyone?

I'll be sure to make a post after the test to give everyone interested my feelings. I think it would be wise for anyone who is planning on taking it...to take the review course always offered the day before the exam. I took the course back in November...but not the exam. I thought the course...
