    PE Exam Tip

If it's pencil in bound notes just photocopy the page and replace the original in your binder. If it's a book that might not help as much. ;)

    Fastest State to Transfer PE?

I found Florida to be very responsive and helpful. I have an NCEES record, but I think I had an email response advising me I was approved within days. Kentucky was super easy with a record, but I don't think that will help in your situation. Perhaps you could talk to the Florida Board and...

    GA Tech Online Review Course

GA Tech course was pretty good for an online course. I would recommend it if you can swing the cost. Long story short, I think the organization of 'doing a class' helped me a lot. Search the forums if you want a more detailed answer, someone seems to ask about the GA Tech class probably every...

    Name on Stamp

Interesting -- I guess that must vary by state. In Alabama, I called with this specific question, and they said initial or full name...my choice. YMMV, of course, but it may be worth a call to your state board...

    Response From Employer

Update: got the title bump and a $3500 raise. Not incredible, but compared to some fo the folks in this thread, I guess it's not too bad :)

For those who passed Power-PE: Lets hear your studying technique

Georgia Tech. I've heard good things about the one through 'Nova, too, for what that's worth. Neither is cheap.

For those who passed Power-PE: Lets hear your studying technique

Not too much at first, maybe 1 hour a day, three or four times a week until about 6 weeks to the exam. Then I was taking a review course online, and between 1 and 2 hours a night, every weeknight, and 6-8 hours on Saturdays. I reserved Sundays for skimming and tabbing references and other such...

    AL PE Results

The database doesn't have the new folks in it yet, although they are supposed to update it Wednesday afternoons. I'd try to call the board and 'verify' your address.

This thread is for Alabama; the MD thread seems to indicate you probably have a few more weeks to wait, sorry. In Alabama, it's all the snail mail...

    Response From Employer

Our company (a small-mid size consulting firm in the South) gives a 2k pay bump by default. Usually a title (& responsibility) change follow shortly thereafter, and usually the pay gets bumped a bit for that, too. I just got the good news today, so I'll see how well this holds in today's...

    LEED

That's exactly what was needed under v2.2. I think they were trying to make it less memorization for the new version, though I imagine there's still a lot of memorization/regurgitation involved.

    A new low in lawsuits?

Try being more specific, i.e. get directions from San Francisco, CA to Sydney, Australia. Worked for me just a minute ago.
