Unified Soil Classification System

Hello
I am currently trying to set up an Excel spreadsheet that will automatically
indicate a soil classification with group name (USCS). Has anyone had any
experience with this or come across one that I might be able to take a look at?
Struggling with the formulas on excel to nail this down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't used this personally. I just Googled and this came up:

I suspect a series of IF, AND, OR mixed with some VLOOKUP formulas will probably get you there. The logic itself is fairly simple on reading the flow chart as is. If I was doing it for myself, I would do set it up to output by step and then piece it together at the end. Doing it this way would keep your formulas on the simpler side rather than 1 gigantic super nested equation. Plus, It'll be easier to spot any errors along the way.
