Position Title = Toxicologist / Risk Assessor
Education Required = PhD in Toxicology or related field (biology, chemistry, biochemistry); MPH desirable.
Experienced Required = 10+ years in toxicology or ecological risk assessment
Position Description =
We are seeking an outstanding Toxicologist / Risk Assessor to lead our Risk Assessment group.
Responsibilities:
* Advising management on human health and environmental risk assessments and other public health projects
* Developing and defending qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
* Managing the risk assessment task of major projects across the Company
* Communicating the risk assessment procedures and findings to staff, clients, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and
the public.
* Providing technical evaluations of hazardous waste sites
* Evaluating the toxic and carcinogenic potential of specific hazardous substances
* Overseeing data collection and analysis
* Project and regulatory research
* Client interaction
* Business development
Requirements:
* Experience with Health Risk Assessments a plus
* Strong business development skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relational database software such as Access
* Excellent analytical, interpretative and communication skills
* Domestic and international travel required
