Our client a Civil Engineering & Construction Firm is looking for multiple (mid to senior level) Engineers to join their fast-growing team to support Commercial & Public Sector clients in and around the greater tristate (PA, NJ, DE) area.
- Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, designs, and specifications for civil engineering projects.
- Site Analysis: Conduct site assessments, soil investigations, and environmental impact studies to determine project feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Structural Analysis: Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure the safety and integrity of designs.
- Budget and Cost Management: Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines, and monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and that projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Construction Oversight: Provide on-site supervision and oversight of construction activities, including quality control and safety compliance.
- Material Selection: Select appropriate materials and construction techniques based on project requirements and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and engineering calculations.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, surveyors, and other professionals, to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
