I passed my (3rd of 3 California) PE exams in Oct '11. The exam fees cover a temporary 3 month registration so I had to pay my first 2-year registration fee by March 2012. My first renewal notice was due March 2014 (good 'til March 2016). My second renewal notice is now due March 2016 (good 'til March 2018). $115 (paid for by employer).
It doesn't feel that long ago that I was slaving over the CERM, HCM, MUTCD, AASHTO books, NCEES Practice Exams, Survey, Seismic, etc. until 2am each night.
