I've really only shared the full story with the folks who go way back on this board, but basically, I never sought counseling after my back to back combat yours in Iraq and Afghanistan, made a major mistake by moving out to San Fran and couldn't afford it, was depressed, broke, smoking and dipping heavily, drinking nightly and calculating the time it takes to fall from center span of the Golden Gate Bridge to the water surface, turns out it's about 4.2 seconds with a "success" rate of about 98%. Just so happens that it is the number 1 destination for suicides in the world averaging about 1 per week since it opened in 1937.
