Tonight is lil Sapling's first night in his big-boy-bed. He's gotten too tall for the crib. Here's hoping I don't hear a peep from him until 7 am.

How old is lil sapling? Little sapperette, just turned 2, and I think she's gonna be out soon, by climbing her way out... I can't remember when mini sap 1 transitioned, since it's been like 6 or 7 years since then.

At 14 months I would not have been on board with toddler bed at all, even though we use baby gates, it isn't a guarantee that older brother or half asleep dad would close them in the middle of the night and lil sapperette is only within the last several months able to go up and down stairs without the constant threat of her toppling over.
Now, at 2 years 1 month, she is able to go up and down stairs safely and sleeps through the night with basically no problems, so I'm thinking it's time, but my wife wants to put it off a little longer.
