Wasn't too bad; then again it wasn't best buy or one of the more popular stores. The store I hit up had the same tv as the more popular stores, just a few bucks more (~5), so that was worth my sanity.

My wife and son went shopping yesterday, got back at 1:30 AM. My wife is funny, she loves to do the Black Friday thing because she enjoys the energy of all the people out in the middle of the night. She doesn't shop at Wal-Mart ever, tends to stay away from Best Buys and those types of places, so I'm not worried she'll get trampled, but still I tell her she can experience the same late night experience by going clubbing... Of course she's 9 months pregnant so clubbing isn't really her thing.

Just looked it up, about 730k, more than I thought. I'm guessing they are pretty concentrated in the Fairbanks and Anchorage areas.

Yep, anch is largest city with Fbx following close behind. Anch def has too many people living in it; saw a few places with lines about 1/4 mile long; thankfully I avoided those stores like the plague. Hit the home improvement stores and got all my shopping done!
