I was talking with team members in Shanghai last night and reminded them that the lab in the US would be closed for holidays on Thursday and Friday. My colleague in China said " yes, we know. Thanksgiving - big chicken." Which I think is a perfect explanation of Thanksgiving - the holiday where Americans take time off to roast big chickens.

I think I actually prefer chicken over turkey. If it weren't for the gravy, I'm not sure I'd be much of a turkey fan at all. Although turkey bacon is still pretty good.

several weeks ago we were at the store and passed by all the thanksgiving supplies decorated with turkeys and such. minisnick turns to me and askes "When is Chicken Day?"
