I'm up but have to go to the office to make up for takin friday off. Don't want to burn up any of my minimal vacation time.

I hear that. Working on the weekends is sometimes better than weekdays though. No PITA phone calls or people annoying you. Can actually get more work done

Must go to Sam's club, bacon supply is low. Might hit the homegrown market and get some jalapeño bacon.

Our office has to work the day after Thanksgiving. Lots of people take it off its a good day to actually get things done. No meetings or interruptions.

Seems like I always have one present to shop for on Christmas Eve.

In the past and before the kids I would wait until Christmas eve and do all of my shopping. Not the greatest of ideas.

I'm more of a week or two before Christmas shopper myself. I've never done Christmas Eve, but 2 or 3 days prior? Yes.

Now with the kids we do the same. A few weeks before.

One year, my uncle was halfway through his drive from the northeast down to SC for Christmas and realized he forgot all his presents at home. He stopped along the way and was able to find everything. Every since then he has turned into a last minute shopper.
