I'm drinking a soda with ester of wood rosin.

That can't be good. It sounds like something used in furniture refinishing.

So I have a question for all of the former test takers. I was having lunch and looking around on the NCEES website while doing so (it was potato cheddar and bacon soup). Anyway. I found that registration for the April 2014 exam opens on December 2nd, per their website. Then I recalled that here in NJ, we received scores from the October 2012 exam on December 14th and registration for April 2013 began the following Monday, December 17th. Has registration ever opened prior to ANY scores being released? Is it possible that they might release the scores extremely early this year, like by November 29th?

If someone does not pass, their package typically comes with instructions to re-register for the next round of exams (ie. fail October, re-take in April). It does suck a little in that it reduces the amount of study time because most do not start studying until they know they need to do so.

I totally understand what you are saying, especially having re-taken the exam now twice. From my prior experience the registration date was always after the bulk of the exam scores were released by the states. My question was for you and most of the other "Veterans" of this message board. Has it ever happened where registration opened before the scores were released? I'm amazed that registration for the next exam is almost two weeks sooner than last years April exam.

I'm not sure.

Yes, it has happened. It will continue to happen. Those that need to retake usually have a different deadline to register by.

Good luck with trying to understand NCEES..

They do suck and the fact that NJ also deals with the PCS is another added layer of BS. Oh well. I was slightly excited when I realized how much earlier registration was this time around.

BACON

Registration for "round 2" never even crossed my mind while I was waiting for results...
