We have a cafeteria at work, but I think that's because the building was built in the 60s. Cafeterias seemed like a normal thing, the complex was quite large for the time, and it was on the outskirts of town. Now I'm not sure how it stays open. It's part of the employee association and the rent is done at a massive discount.
i wish we had a cafeteria. would eat there most everyday if we had one. I hate getting lunch ready the night before or morning of. It's so nice the daycare feeds Minisnick breakfast/lunch/snakcs. he is going to be a hot lunch kid when he gets to full day school...that's all i can say
When I worked on a military installation contractors got to eat at the dining facility, for $2.50 you got salad bar, entree, dessert and drink. Food wasn't that bad but for the price you couldn't beat it. Plus we could easily walk to it.
