My husband has a growler and nowhere to fill it. Local brewery makes you buy theirs and says they can't legally fill one without their label. I say put a sticker on it and call it labeled. . .

i am glad my local brewer will fill anything. one of the liquor stores also has a growler bar. sometimes they have some wicked ciders.
