testmasters, when to attend...

If I'm applying in December for PE License, meaning I should be able to take it in April 2016, when is the right time to attend test masters? I am short of 4 yrs experience but I will be receiving my Masters in Science: Civil Engineering in December if all goes as planned and would like to apply for PE exam. I'm not in a rush, but want to make sure I'm taking the right steps. Should testmasters be taken this Fall? or in Spring 16?
