Test Prep course hints

For those of you who went through the expensive, long weekend classes... what tips did you gain for cancelling out answers that immediately look wrong? When I look at the answers, I see (4) very possible correct answers, although I hear that many of them have about (2) that you can take right out.

Also, I heard that for guessing if you run out of time, to guess all the same letter (ex all A's or all B's) instead of mixing up your guesses...?
