Surveying Book

I was wondering if anyone used the

Surveying Solved Problems for the FS and PS Exams, third edition, by Jan Van Sickle to study for the survey part of the CIvil Engineering PE exam. I know that it is for FS and PS exams but was wondering if anyone found it useful in preparation for Engineering Surveying exam.

I used the Land Surveyor Reference Manual (PPI Book) and found the way they did the horizontal & vertical curves was easier "for me" to follow and remember...

pass, I'm sure there is some overlap in exam topics between the FS exam, the PLS exam and the CA-Special Survey exam but I would suggest sticking with reference material put together specifically for the CA-Special Survey exam. Good luck.
