Structural reference manual bridge example

Hi,

For the structural reference manual, bridge design chapter 8, example 8.11, the reference used the required reinforcement ratio as 0.00173,  while the minimum ratio is 0.0031! I think the reference should use the minimum value, please correct to me if I'm wrong,

There is no minimum reinforcing requirement for flexure in AASHTO for non compression controlled members. See AASHTO 2014 5.7.3.3.2
