There is a steel bridge design course coming up that may be helpful for the Vertical Bridge PM. Some of it looks quite basic, and some looks very applicable. I haven't taken it so can't vouch for how useful it may be, but for those of us in the west, any exposure to steel can be more than a typical day at the office. Also, this may qualify for training budget in a company where a traditional SE review course does not, depending on corporate policy. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone may be interested.
