A friend of mine sold his vacation place in Beaufort because he repainted his mailbox and the HOA claimed it was 'two shades off.' He was an irrascible old cuss and told them he'd sell the SOB before he repainted the mailbox. He did, too.

If someone told me what grass to plant, I'd tell them to pound salt. It ain't their yard, and ain't their money. That's micromanaging BS right there.

I guess we just have differing views. The sod they required was the same cost as other bermuda grasses, yet was developed to have an enhanced tolerance to the environmental and climatic conditions in the area. Add to that the fact if produced few to no seed heads for those that wouldn't take care of their lawn, and that's the reason they wanted it.

I didn't care. If the cost was the same, it didn't matter to me.

Of course, I decided against building there too.

So, if anyone wants to buy a lot in central AL with micromanaging BS covenants and restrictions, message me!

While I'm pitching things, I've got an RV to sell too!

What was the name of the grass in that sod? I could use that in my bahaia infested yard.

I just don't like authority figures telling me what to do. Its a common trait in SC. I think we started a war once because of it.

I don't remember the name. Seems as though it was primarily a number.

Did you (or anyone) miss the part about the RV? I really need to sell it.

I think you should put it on the empty lot with a gigantic, neon For Sale sign. See how that fits in with the covenant.

I would, but I can't afford the diesel to keep the sign glowing.

What if I just spray paint a piece of OSB leaned up against it?

FUR SALE. SERIUS INKW INQWRY MONEY TALKS!

Nah, I saw it. I just don't have a need fro an RV. Is it one of the supercool ones from the 60s/70s made with corrugated metal sidess, and tiny little wheels?

Maybe if you painted an oh-so-cool-daddy-o stripe down the side, it would appeal to a wider audience.

Best looking RV's ever were the GMC motorhomes.

^^ A buddy of mine has one of the old GMC motorhomes. He picked it up a couple of years ago on Ebay and spent a bunch of time/money fixing it. It's a pretty ugly shade of green and he refers to it as the Rolling Pickle.

FYI, the washing machine there on the side does NOT go with the coach.

HAHA That's what popped up first when I google image surfed old rv. I did ugly rv to get the one I posted.

IFR, yeah, I remember that color. I drink because I grew up in the 70s.

What's hanging underneath it?

Nice, but waaaaaaay out of my leauge. When I was a kid, we had a Nimrod pop-up camper. Brown cover with supercool offset dual orand racing stripes. Orange matresses.

It's a rubber rock guard to keep from throwing rocks up on your tow vehicle.

It was my father's. Mom wants to get rid of it because it bothers her to think about it. I told her I would take care of it.

That's not an actual photo, but it's similiar to hers. I told her I would take photos next time I was in town and try to get it sold for her.

I have to agree with the Capt. very nice, but way out of budget. The neighbors have a similar RV and a boat...so we are going to try to get to know them this spring/summer.
