One of our clients in the Columbus, OH area is seeking an experienced engineer to analyze requirements, design, implement and test radar and microwave systems.

- The RF/Radar engineer will be responsible for creating system designs and documentation, and for the delivery of a functional product.

- The person in the position must be able to mentor and train junior team members.

- Understanding of pulsed/CW radar as well as RF and Microwave principals is required.

- Must have experience with RF test equipment.

- Background with tracking radars and phased arrays is a plus.

- Familiarity with digital signal processing, digital design methods, and motion devices and motion control is a plus.

- Understanding of Object Oriented software development is beneficial.

- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.

- Some travel is required (less than one week per month).

- Candidates local to the Columbus area are preferred, but relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

- Must be US citizen.

- The company prefers to structure this position as a contract-to-hire opportunity.
