In regards to the yard sale section... how do most people seal the deal?

Does The buyer mail a check?  Is there some other method commonly used?

I ended up selling most of my items via Amazon.

You have to set up an Amazon seller account. You can then list the items as used under the main listing. If I recall, it was handled via ISBN to make sure it was the same book. Amazon gives you a little money to ship. It was pretty easy. Here, I googled it for you: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/

But I think I also used PayPal here. That was before Craigslist was big and you weren't supposed to give strangers your PayPal info because then they could find you and stalk you and kill you or whatever.
