Sample exam from Lindeburg question 72 shows the answer is (D) 1960 CY. If you use end area method the answer is closer to 1780 CY. Any explanations to defend which answer is correct?

i must have a different Lindeburg exam than you... my #72 is about solid waste.

@pebound,

I have the same concern. Looking at the solution, I'm thinking the second term should be divided by two since the shape is triangular. I get 1722cy plus change for the corners.

Anyone else tried this sample problem? I have tried end area method and geometric solution (shifting shapes) and I still come up with the same answer 1740 CY.
